um... but what function do you want really?

lightroom and gimp/PS is quite a diff thing....

lightroom is more or less like a software that create a platform for you to streamline your work flow, which provide some fine tuning to the photos, but nothing to do with editing

whereas PS/Gimp is a software for you to manipulate graphic.....

then that's pretty much light room can do la wor

I only tried 30 days so not sure if I am really correct....but if you know photoshop, light room can't be too hard to use...just take time to get familiar with the library and the work flow system

the keyword to learn a software is always start with "Tutorial"

don't understand layer then search "photoshop layer tutorial"
I learn my photoshop this way
