英文grammar一問

1/ There is news on which everyone is focussed.

2/ They neither cared about the other's safety, nor whether the problem would be aggravated. （...或是問題會否更為嚴重。 ）
They neither cared about the other's safety, nor whether the fire would become more fierce. (...或是火勢會否更為猛烈。)

"nobody neither" 係 double negative, 通常不會用到。Save 係動詞，所以要轉做名詞的 safety (=安危)。"Would the..." 通常用在問句，所以轉做"whether"。"Problem aggravate..." 是指那問題使另一樣野變得更嚴重，所以轉做 "be aggravated"，令到 "problem" 由主變賓。
