HK Gov is very on 9 to push up the land price and limit the supply.
I need to work 10 hours per day and get a $12.5k salary. My girl friend is a sales person who needs to work on the commisson and can have about $15K. Yet, we plan to buy a flat in Western District recently. Fxxxxxg 30 years old small flat asking $1.8m - $2.2m. Come on!!! price is still higher than 04 - 05, but the economy now is 100% worse than 04 - 05.

Well, most people need to work hard and save in the first 3-7 years of career. There are tonnes and tonnes of cases like that, not just in Hong Kong, but also in most developed cities in the world.
