The Brazilian Highlands' was produced in 2008 and will premiere on February 12, 2009.[7] For this season, the minimum age requirement has been lowered to 18 in most states.[8] This season will return to the nation of Brazil, but a different part than that used for Survivor: The Amazon.[9]
