Ubuntu 8.04 can't share file by samba

Ubuntu 8.04 can't share file by samba

dear all,

I use ubuntu 8.10 and with the samba, I can't share the files to my set top box ( to windows machine is ok ).
But I try to use FreeNAS, thats no problem.

Is it the security setting in the ubuntu is too strong?

你部STB 個Samba authorize 有冇得選擇NTLM?

no ar, the STB got nothing can be set, only the IP address for the server.
