It is an underwater bicycle covered with fancy materials. The crew, the athlete, adventurer, science explorer and even an inventor Ted Ciamillo once built an underwater motorbike dubbed Hydrospeeder. The crew inside the submarine can see the surrounding ocean through 'glass' or some plastic materials. Oceanographer are also welcome this project named "Subhuman project" which the small submarine plans to across the Atlantic around 50 days (3700 kilometres). Unlike most submarines it is fully filled with water all times. The crew breathes (with scuba) the air supplied from cylinders on "boat". Most time he will submerge in sea water. Only at night the sub will float on water and he will sleep in a tent. He plans to propel the small submarine 2 metres below water all day. I don't understand why not the submarine partially filled with air. This could provide equivalent buoyancy. Also it won't upset the stability at all. The crew submerging in water for too long would affect a lot. The crew can propel the underwater bicycle much much better in air than in water. There are many other details which might be found in the webpage.
