卡拉揚(Herbert Von Karajan)今年是他100歲冥壽,DG大做宣傳,
本來唱片多的他今年更多推出(部份更是首次有CD版,大家點睇這位"明星"級指揮???
說他是20世紀最偉大指揮我絕不認同(我只認同他是最成功的指揮明星)
當然,Karajan亦非浪得虛名,某些作品的確無人能玩出他那種味道, 埸面音色豪華艷麗
(但80年代以後的他
已大不如前)例如柴叔的交響曲................
所謂80年代3大指揮(Bernstein加埋Solti)3個都名過其實(蘇堤我更加毫無好感)

音樂大商家一名, 功課交足, 台型十足, 喜歡玩靚音色, 容易吸引初學者, 但係唔襟聽, 永冇 top version。

He is the first classical musician that make a fortune out of classical music.

I would say he is one of the greatest conductors..eager to learn and adopt new approaches towards a piece..his conducting principal is still deeply rooted in certain conductors' mind.. however his dictatorship was a black mark towards his career..
