MY COMPANY IS OVERSEA COMPANY, IT DEPT. BASE ON OVERSEA AS WELL..
NOW I WANNA TO SET UP "OUTLOOK2007".....
I JUST SET UP FOLLOW MY COMPANY'S INCOMING/ OUTGOING SERVER...
AND I CAN RECEIVED MAILS,BUT NOT SENDING....
WHAT IS IT HAPPENED?
AND WHAT SHOULD I DO?
ASSIGN DIFFERENT SMTP PORT NUMBER FROM COMPANY FOR SENDING MAIL?
P.S:上網是沒問題，卻只能收電郵，不能發出電郵。

Error message 如下:
Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'


TRIED TO SET UP YAHOO MAIL TO OUTLOOK.. ITS WORK... JUST MY COMPANY MAIL A/C CANT SEND OUT...

這是Mail server 的 Relay security issue
你本身用乜野黎做SMTP Server?

i am using my company server which is same as china branch or oversea branch.....
the address is same as incoming server...

i just worry about.. if i work at home.. where is using NETVIGATOR... because someone said.. NETVIGATOR is not allow me to use own server @ outlook....

因為PCCW Home Plan 係Block 左Port25
你只可以用到PCCW 個SMTP Server 黎出Email
唔關你Mail Server 問題
所以如果你要咁用既話
1. 轉Business plan
2. 用VPN conntect 反公司
3. 在Mail Server add another SMTP Port

if i ask my company to assign different outgoing server port number.. is it possible to solve this problem??

你唔想用  PCCW 個 SMTP 來 send email?

你用得PCCW 個SMTP (mail.netvigator.com)
就只可以用@netvigator.com 黎出

你要係Business Plan
才可以用corpmail1.netvigator.com 出
並且可以用你個Domain name 黎出

否則則不可以用其他既mail server 黎出Email.
(你用Business plan 就冇Block, 你想點都得)

所以上面已經說了
你叫你公司在SMTP 開多另外一個port 比你做SMTP Service
咁你就改自已部機個SMTP Server 用那個Port 就得
情況就如在大陸
會Block port25 咁
所以點解有D 公司會另外再加多 Port2525 或一D 無厘頭既port
去解決呢個問題

PCCW Home Plan block左
25 及 80 port

一部Mail Server 可以有多個SMTP Port 的
(Exchange Server 一定可以)
所以係唔會影響到其他人的
