The AL Admission Scores shown below are the sum total of the best 2 AL subjects or 1 AL subject plus 2 ASL subjects (any ASL subjects including Use of English and Chinese Language and Culture). For the purpose of score calculation, subject grades are converted into numeric values (For AL subjects: A= 10 , B= 8 , C= 6 , D= 4 , E= 2 ; for ASL subjects: A= 5 , B= 4 , C= 3 , D= 2 , E= 1 ). Applicants' score at the GSI will be aggregated together with their AL admission scores to form an "Overall Admission Score".
