"quite good" is nothing compare to the IBGM students who can speak with US / UK accent. They are intelligent, dare to speak or give constructive opinions during public speaking, and most importantly, easy to approach.

I know a friend who scored  5A in GCE..10A in HKCEE.

some IBGM schoolmates are really smart, aggressive and well-rounded, ...but some are    (just like the average BBA students)
In general, they all have excellent HKCEE results.....as most of them are come from Early Admission Scheme...6A is the minimum.
Besides, English (esp. speaking) is an important factor of admission of course.
